Our Origin
Renálida was founded in Mar del Plata, Argentina, in 2022. From the beginning, we have sought to build close, comprehensive, and evidence-based care that considers kidney health alongside each person's daily life, personal bonds, needs, and preferences. That purpose brought together an interdisciplinary team and a community deeply committed to care.
A model we build as a community
Over time, that vision took shape in our own care journey: Renal Mapping provides insight into each individual's situation; Joint Clinical Encounters offer a space to learn, share experiences, and strengthen self-care; and the Renal Roadmap provides individualized guidance to ensure continuity of care alongside the primary care physician.
The individuals we accompany, their families, and kidney ambassadors are an active part of this model. Their experiences and strengths help us improve and build a community where caring also means listening, sharing, and deciding together.
Our participation in the Sister Centers Program of the International Society of Nephrology, alongside the Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires, has strengthened our clinical, technological, and organizational capabilities. Academic and community partnerships, as well as clinical research, have also contributed to this growth.
Today, the development of RenalTech and tools designed to connect data between laboratories and physicians serves that same purpose: facilitating early detection, guiding follow-up based on risk, and fostering continuity of care.
Our experience, shared with the world
Dr. Paula Andrea Marioli presented the Renálida care model in a lecture at the World Congress of Nephrology 2026 in Yokohama, Japan, sharing our experience with person-centered, community-built kidney care.

Our Horizon
We want more people to have access to timely, understandable kidney care close to their community. To this end, we continue to strengthen coordination with primary care, shared education, research, and digital tools in the service of care.
Our commitment is to continue learning alongside those we accompany and to transform that learning into better ways of caring, respecting what matters to each person and strengthening their ability to participate in decisions about their health.
